Arkansas gains control, leads Mizzou 21-3

UPDATED, 3:20 p.m.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. • Arkansas controlled the ball and controlled the scoreboard and is one half away from ending Missouri’s regular season — perhaps its season overall and the coaching career of Gary Pinkel.

Behind three Alex Collins touchdown runs of 4, 7 and 25 yards, the Razorbacks stormed to a 21-3 halftime lead at rain-soaked Razorback Stadium. The Tigers managed just three first downs and 93 yards of offense.

Arkansas possessed the ball for nearly 21 minutes while dominating the line of scrimmage. The Hogs ran the ball 27 times for 134 yards and occasionally threw in some passes as quarterback Brandon Allen completed 8 of 11 throws for 77 yards in his home finale.
