2017 NFL draft: SEC leads all leagues with 12 first-round picks

For the sixth time in seven years, the SEC had the most first-rounders in the NFL draft. Indeed, the SEC West by itself had more draft picks than any other league.

Twelve SEC players went in the first round, with nine from West Division schools. The Big Ten was second with seven, followed by the Pac-12 with six, the ACC with four and the AAC, Big 12 and Mid-American with one each.
