COLUMBIA, Mo. • In the second inning Tuesday, Missouri’s Trey Harris burst out of the batter’s box on a bloop to Missouri State center fielder Tate Matheny and dashed around first base with no sign of stopping. The freshman outfielder turned an easy single into a sliding double. It was a play born out of Mizzou’s aggressive philosophy established back in the fall, long before the Tigers launched their turnaround season.
