After a day full of rain, the team of Fred Funk and Jeff Sluman caught fire on Saturday at the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge.
The Champions Division team birdied five of its first six holes, then added five more birdies on the back nine for a course-record 10-under 44 and the lead at the PGA Tour Champions event.
"Fred played amazing today," Sluman said. "He hit good shot after good shot. I was there to help him on the few occasions that he needed it, but I think 10-under's a pretty good score.
