As a transfer student from Northern Illinois, I arrived at Missouri State wondering what the athletics at Missouri State would be like.
I went from watching a football program which was competing for BCS bowl games in the two years I was there, to a football team which went 1-10 in my first year here (remember, they are getting better).
I already followed the baseball team and I knew they were the best team Missouri State had to offer.
Through my time working for The Standard, I know more about Missouri State athletics than the average student, but the one thing that I am still confused by is Missouri State’s ‘rivalry’ with Wichita State.
