Ruddick suspended indefinitely due to animal abuse accusations

Missouri State University announced that sophomore quarterback Breck Ruddick has been suspended indefinitely due to accusations of animal abuse late Saturday night.

The school said in a press release that the school and head football coach Dave Steckel are aware of the accusations.

“The University considers this to be a serious allegation,” said the press release.

Ruddick was suspended late Friday night in advance of Missouri State’s game against Kansas State due to conduct detrimental to the team.

According to the press release, the Office of Student Conduct will coordinate an investigation and will turn over its findings to the Athletics Department for team discipline.
