Missouri State basketball isn’t quite finished yet.
The Missouri State men’s basketball manager’s team is headed to the Manager Games Elite 8 in Phoenix after battling their way through the Manager Games Postseason Tournament.
Since the opening round of 64 teams, fans have voted on who advances further in the tournament through Twitter polls on the @ManagerGames_ Twitter account.
The Bears came back to defeat Pittsburgh in the Sweet 16 with a Twitter poll result finishing 50 percent to 50 percent. Missouri State owned the tiebreaker.
“It was around midnight when we were down one percent, so we just started texting friends and family to tell them to vote,” junior sports administration major Jordan Scott said.
