MSU falls to DePaul at buzzer

Chris Kendrix hit a pair of free throws to tie the game for the Bears with 16 seconds in the game after they blew a 13 point second half lead.

DePaul senior guard Billy Garrett Jr. responded with a buzzer beater to hand the Bears their first loss of the season.

After three easy wins for the Missouri State Bears, they faced their first test of the season in a 68-66 loss to the Big East’s DePaul Blue Demons.

“I thought we gave great effort,” head coach Paul Lusk said. “(I was) disappointed because I thought we outplayed them for most of the game.
