Highly-rated Missouri State basketball player Greg Williams has been in the hospital for the last three months, according to his coach.
Bears head coach Paul Lusk said during a conference call with reporters Tuesday that Williams is at a St. Louis hospital recovering from another hernia procedure.
"He’s a very courageous young man," Lusk said. "He’s been through an awful lot."
Williams, a 6-foot-6 point guard, committed to Missouri State in November 2015, but he has yet to play a game for the Bears.
Complications from a previous hernia surgery forced him to redshirt last season.
