More clutch baseball was on the menu on Friday afternoon for Missouri State.

The Bears rallied from a 5-2 deficit to claim a 7-5 victory over Belmont in the first game of the Mule Mix Classic in Nashville, Tennessee.

It was the second consecutive game the Bears came back for a victory; they rallied from down 5-3 after five innings for a 9-5 win at Oral Roberts on Tuesday.

Missouri State (4-1) trailed by three runs after six innings on Friday, but struck for one run in the seventh and four in the eighth.

The seventh-inning run was scored when Alex Jefferson came in on a Blake Graham double play.
