It’s also the final home in the illustrious career for Bulldogs quarterback Dak Prescott, and he will try to fulfill an obligation he talked about in January.
“When I decided to come to Mississippi State, it wasn’t about competing for a championship for one year or making a run for one year,” Prescott said when announced he would stay for his senior season. “It was about competing for championships and making this a program that’s not a one-hit wonder.”
Prescott has helped change the face of the Bulldogs’ program. Prescott and the Bulldogs are 18-6 over the past two seasons, and he has entrenched himself as one of the all-time greats in school history.
