Mississippi State wrapped things up in Mexico by winning their final game of the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge against Florida Gulf Coast by a score of 6-3. The Bulldogs got out to a hot start and held off the Eagles to win the game.
Holly Ward got the start for the Bulldogs, throwing 3 complete inning
Alexis Silkwood replaced Ward in the 4th and would finish out the game. With the win today, Silkwood remains undefeated on the year at 5-0.
The Bulldogs only trailed at one point today, and that was with a 1-0 lead after the top half of the first inning.
