Mississippi State commitment Cordavien Suggs looks forward to going home

Three-star offensive tackle Cordavien Suggs might play high school football in Florida but the reason he committed to Mississippi State in July is so he can play college ball at home.

Suggs, who plays at Jacksonville Beach (Fla.) Fletcher, originally is from Mississippi and is excited about returning to his home state.

“I’m a Mississippi native,” Suggs told GN. “They just felt comfortable; they felt like family. I felt it was the right move.”

Suggs (6 feet 6, 285 pounds) is looking forward to the opportunity to play for Dan Mullen.

“He’s a coach I can relate to.
