Four-star dual-threat quarterback Keytaon Thompson from New Orleans Landry-Walker committed to Mississippi State in December 2015, but rumors have been swirling in recent weeks that numerous teams were trying to flip Thompson.
Thompson (6 feet 4, 225 pounds) is considered one of the top-10 dual-threat quarterbacks nationally as well as a top-300 overall prospect in the class of 2017.

“I’m still solid with Mississippi State and I’ll be there in January,” Thompson told GN. “I was being recruited hard by Missouri, Tennessee and Oregon, but Mississippi State is where I’ll be at the end of the day.
