Ole Miss bounces back with demolition of Georgia

OXFORD, Miss. – Five takeaways from Ole Miss’ easy 45-14 victory over Georgia, which snapped a 10-game losing streak to the Bulldogs.

1. The Ole Miss defensive line had its way

The Ole Miss defensive front was a nightmare for both Florida State and Alabama early on. To their credit, the Tide and the Seminoles withstood the pressure and eventually got on equal footing. Not Saturday. Ole Miss’ line had three sacks and forced numerous errant throws from true freshman QB Jacob Eason, including a pick-six by Derrick Jones. Eason, who threw for 308 yard in last week’s win over Missouri, was 16-of-36 for 137 yards against the Rebels.
