AP Top 25 poll: Alabama sits at the top; Georgia, LSU plummet

Alabama is still No. 1 in the AP Top 25 poll. The Crimson Tide handled Kent State in a 48-0 win on Saturday.

In the latest version of the weekly poll, which was released Sunday, Alabama received 50 first-place votes. No. 2 Ohio State picked up four votes, No. 3 Louisville had six and No. 4 Michigan had one.

Overall, the top seven teams in the poll remain unchanged, with Clemson at No. 5, Houston at No. 6 and Stanford at No. 7.

Georgia and LSU were the biggest losers. The Bulldogs fell 13 spots from No.
