Three-star athlete Jonathan Hess committed to Ole Miss on Wednesday, making his pledge public via Twitter.

Hess (6 feet 5, 215 pounds), from Birmingham (Ala.) Vestavia Hills, seems likely to play linebacker at the next level.
He also had offers from, among others, Memphis, Navy, Tulane and Wake Forest.
Hess is the eighth commitment for Ole Miss in the 2018 class, and the sixth from a player likely to play defense for the Rebels.
