It took 11 goals and an overtime to settle last night's action in Tampa Bay as the Lightning defeated the Rangers to take a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Minnesota Twins also won their game in extra frames on Joe Mauer's first home run of the year. I digress. Nikita Kucherov sent a snipe past King Henrik to send the crowd happyhappy early in the first overtime. Chicago and Anheim are set to do battle after their last meeting took over 116 minutes to settle. At least there is very entertaining hockey to be seen while we prepare for the draft and free agency.
