With Harrison Smith hurting, Anthony Harris could step in at safety

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Harrison Smith's absence from practice for a third straight day continues to suggest the Minnesota Vikings will be without their top safety on Sunday in Jacksonville. As the Vikings try to figure out how they'd play without Smith, Anthony Harris could be the player they turn to first.

Smith was taking first-team snaps with Andrew Sendejo on Thursday, and the second-year safety, who started two games after signing with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent last year, could get his first start of the year on Sunday.
