The Minnesota Vikings announced Friday that they’ve signed rookie DT Chunky Clements to a contract and placed rookie DE Caleb Kidder on waivers.
Kidder, 23, signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Montana this past May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.
Clements is an undrafted free agent out of Illinois and this will be his first opportunity with an NFL team. During his four-year college career, Clements recorded 99 tackles, 26.
