Newest Vikings WR Moritz Boehringer; Around-the-World Reactions

With the 180th overall pick, Minnesota drafted German wide receiver Moritz Boehringer, making Boehringer the first player in NFL history to be drafted straight from Europe.

Boehringer, who at age 17 had never played football, fell in love with the sport after seeing a YouTube video of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson. Five years later, Boehringer will now share a locker room with Peterson.

Twitter reactions to the unique story flooded in after the pick – from the U.S. and beyond.
