The Minnesota Vikings announced that they have waived S Ahmad Dixon, RB Henry Josey, TE Ryan Otten, T Antonio Richardson, and G Austin Wentworth on Thursday afternoon.
Of the five players, only Austin Wentworth played in a game for the Vikings last season.
The moves were made in order to create roster space for this year's nine player rookie class, all of whom have already been signed.
