Back in 2010, as the nation focused on a massive oil spill in the Gulf and the World Cup in South Africa, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was beginning to generate a buzz at Northwestern High School in Miami.

In 2010, he had garnered multiple recruiting offers and finally accepted Coach Randy Shannon's to play for the hometown Miami Hurricanes. However, after Shannon was fired just weeks later, Bridgewater revoked his commitment and decided to take his talents to the University of Louisville, where he accumulated a mass of accolades.
