The Minnesota Twins won last night on a dramatic double play to end the game. The Twins were on the verge of giving up their lead again when the Mariners attempted some very ill-advised baserunning.
Both runners Seattle had on were tagged out. They shot themselves in the foot and handed the Twins the game on a platter. Big assist from the Mariners in this win.
It was one of the worst baserunning gaffes that we’ve seen in a long time.
Long before all that late drama, Phil Hughes toed the rubber for the Twins.
