The Minnesota Twins have called up left handed relief pitcher Buddy Boshers (pronounced Bo-sheers) from AAA Rochester. Terry Ryan needed to make room on both the 40 and 25 man rosters for Boshers.
Darin Mastroianni is heading to the 15 day disabled list with an oblique strain which makes room on the 25 man. Glen Perkins has been moved from the 15 day disabled list to the 60 day disabled list. Players on the 60 day disabled list do not count against the 40 man roster limit and so this opens a spot for Boshers there.
