Minnesota Twins: Don’t Let Ricky Nolasco’s Record Fool You

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher, Ricky Nolasco picked up his fourth straight win last night against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Nolasco worked 5.2 innings, giving up three earned runs on ten hits. Nolasco also recorded a season-high eight strikeouts. He has recorded 15 strikeouts in his last two starts.

Since returning from the disable list with an elbow injury, Nolaso has gone 4-0. On the season he’s, 4-1 with a 6.00 earned run average.

He has yet to pitch more than 6 innings this season, but all that matters is getting the win. However, Nolasco has been the beneficiary of run support.
