The trade deadline has come and gone and the Minnesota Twins made one move to help the bullpen. They acquired veteran reliever, Kevin Jepsen for two minor league pitchers.
The Twins are currently 53-48 and own a two game lead over the Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays for the final Wild Card spot in the American League. They are also two games back of the Los Angeles Angels for the first Wild Card spot.
The Twins are trying to make the playoffs for the first time since 2010. The question becomes can they hold off the Blue Jays for the final Wild Card spot?
