A Look at the Wolves Pace of Play

That’s the amount of consecutive games that the Wolves lost to the Los Angeles Lakers before November 10th, 2013. With Kobe Bryant out and Minnesota riding excitement into what was supposed to be a playoff season, the Wolves ran L.A. out of their own building. After trailing 8-7 with 8:35 to play in the first quarter the team caught fire, mostly thanks to Kevin Love and Kevin Martin (18 and 16 points, respectively) and finished the quarter leading 47-23, a record by the team for most points in a frame.
