Timberwolves fans will get their first chance to see new draft choices Karl-Anthony Towns and Tyus Jones during a free scrimmage on July 8 at Target Center. Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine, Shabazz Muhammad, Gorgui Dieng and Adreian Payne are also set to play.
The Wolves selected Towns with the first overall pick and then traded for Jones, who was selected 24th, during the NBA draft on June 25.
Target Center will open at 6 p.m. next Wednesday for members, 6:30 for the general public, with the scrimmage starting at 7 p.m.
The Wolves will depart for the Las Vegas Summer League after the scrimmage.
