Minnesota WR KJ Maye headed to the New York Giants

Multiple reports (ht to Doogie for reporting it first) suggest KJ Maye will sign with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. This makes KJ the first of several available Minnesota Gophers to line up a free agent deal following the close of the NFL Draft.

KJ proved to be a key part of Minnesota's passing attack. As a senior, he was the team's leading receiver with 73 receptions for 773 yards and 5 touchdowns. His 73 receptions were the most ever recorded by a Gophers senior and were second best all time (single season) behind Eric Decker's 84 catches in 2008.
