The Minnesota Golden Gophers will welcome the Purdue Boilermakers (minus former head coach Darrell Hazell) to TCF Bank Stadium next Saturday with kickoff set for 2:30 PM CT. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
This will end the Gophers’ four-game streak of kicking off before noon, but not all Gopher fans will be thrilled about this news. The University of Minnesota men’s hockey team is set to take on North Dakota at Mariucci Arena that night, so traffic after the football game and leading up to the hockey game will not be pleasant. Those of you who will have to deal with that misfortune will be in our thoughts and prayers.
