After the team showed signs of life again prior to the All-Star break, and then Giannis Antetokounmpo put on a show in the NBA’s showcase game in New Orleans, Milwaukee Bucks fans had every reason to be feeling somewhat optimistic for the team’s return to action.
Unfortunately, the Bucks were welcomed back to NBA play by an excellent Utah Jazz team, and could only offer up a lackluster performance on the whole as a counter to a superior team’s efforts.
That’s not to say that there weren’t bright spots for the Bucks, as Giannis Antetokounmpo and Michael Beasley both put in stellar performances, but they received almost no help from the rest of their teammates.
