Chris Copeland fills out Bucks roster

In a move that had been expected, the Milwaukee Bucks filled out their roster by signing 6-foot-8 free-agent forward Chris Copeland on Wednesday morning. Copeland's signing gives the Bucks 15 guaranteed contracts heading into the 2015-'16 season.

Copeland's stretch-4 ability replaces the skill sets of forwards Ersan Ilyasova and Jared Dudley, who Milwaukee traded to Detroit and Washington earlier in the offseason. With a one-year contract slightly above the veteran's minimum — around $1.1 million according to a source — Copeland comes at a fraction of the cost of Ilyasova and Dudley, who are owed $7.9 million and $4.
