You might have heard that first baseman Eric Thames was fantastic. That is, of course, assuming you don’t live under a rock. After three more games against the Reds, his OPS is sitting at 1.393 and he’s leading the league with 11 homers. He did exit Wednesday’s game late with an apparent hamstring injury, but it’s believed to be minor, and he’s expected to back in the lineup this weekend.
