Tottenham's 2-1 victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside on Saturday demonstrated why they could win this season's Premier League title -- and why they still have work to do.
The win was Spurs' third on the bounce in the league, and along with Manchester City they remain one of two unbeaten sides in the top flight after Everton lost 1-0 at Bournemouth. But it was tenser than it should have been after Ben Gibson's header gave the home side hope.
