Lazio are discussing a £9million offer for Middlesbrough midfielder Marten de Roon.
The Holland international also has interest from Roma and Atalanta, his former club, as he considers leaving Boro this summer.
The 26-year-old joined for £12million last year and impressed in flashes during Boro's Premier League season drawing praise from Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho in particular and prompting interest from Everton.
However, it is Lazio who are leading the running for his signature at the moment though so far their valuation is falling short of Boro's.
