Britt Assombalonga has told talkSPORT he was sold on a move to Middlesbrough after meeting manager Garry Monk.
The striker joined Boro from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest on Monday for a club record £15million fee.
In his first interview since sealing the switch, he told Jim White he is excited by Monk's plans for the club as they bid to bounce back from relegation.
