MURFREESBORO, Tenn.—Early offense and a gem by was the difference in Blue's 6-3 win over White in Game 2 of the Blue-White World Series at Reese Smith Field Saturday afternoon.
For the second straight game, Blue struck first, putting up a three spot in the bottom of the first inning. Back-to-back singles from seniors and started the scoring run. Later in the inning, junior smacked an RBI-single through the left side to strengthen the Blue lead.
In the second, Blue picked up where it left off, with another Vesser single and a Delgado fielder's choice to score two more pushing the lead to 5-0 after two.
