No. 2 ranked Oakland continued its string of running clocks on Friday night by going on the road and whipping Coffee County 62-0.
Every game the Patriots have played this season has resulted in a continuous clock, which occurs when a team is ahead by 35 points.
"That's a lot of points," said Oakland coach Kevin Creasy. "I'm proud of our kids for getting off the bus and being ready to play. Sometimes you play down to a lesser opponent, especially when their starting quarterback is out.
"Our guys did a good job jumping on them quick and letting some of our reserves have the opportunity to play.
