Playoff scenarios are starting to play themselves out as the Tennessee high school football season enters its final week of the regular season.
Of course, in Class 6A, all Rutherford County teams will be going to the playoffs, but Oakland's (9-0, 6-0) 56-7 win over Cookeville last Friday clinched the Patriots the No. 1 seed in the playoffs.
"We've had two tough regions in a row and we'll finish with a tough opponent in Smyrna," said Oakland coach Kevin Creasy. "I thought our kids played well. We really didn't talk about the region championship. We figured Week 11 would be the decider.
