For the past two seasons, MTSU quarterback Brent Stockstill has been rewriting the Blue Raider record books.
The college football world has taken notice as Stockstill was one of only four players in Conference USA named to the Maxwell Award watch list last week.
The Maxwell Award is given annually to the top player in college football.
"It is an honor to even be on a list with some of the top football players in the country," Stockstill said in a release. "I appreciate the recognition for our program."
The Murfreesboro native and former Siegel High standout ranks 21st in the nation in career passing yards among active players (7,279).
