Down double digits at halftime, the Riverdale Warriors rallied in the second half but ultimately fell 61-57 at home to the Brentwood Bruins Friday night.
Everything was going right for Brentwood in the first half, as the Bruins capitalized on several Riverdale turnovers to take a 30-20 lead at halftime.
"One of the things that they did tonight was they had a bunch of good action against the zone," Riverdale coach Michael Voss said. "I thought the first half they hurt us with it and I thought the second half we did a great job of adjusting at half time, and we just did a better job of covering out of it.
