MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee's women's tennis team got off to a perfect start in the new season, defeating Lipscomb, 5-2, and Belmont, 7-0, at the Adams Tennis Complex Sunday afternoon.
The Bisons gave the Blue Raiders some fits early in their match, taking two out of the three doubles matches to earn a 1-0 advantage heading into singles play.
"Lipscomb came in here and wanted to win, and I give them a lot of credit," MT head coach said.
