Middle Tennessee dropped both games against Charlotte Saturday afternoon. The Blue Raiders (19-21, 7-11) fell in Game One of the doubleheader 7-4 and in Game Two 12-5 to the 49ers (24-16, 12-6).
"It was a tough weekend for us obviously," said Head Coach Jim McGuire. "We were in all three games, we just couldn't make the timely plays close out the game. Charlotte is a great team, but we have to find ways to win those games."
MT out-hit Charlotte in both games, but did not seem to get the timely hits to drive in enough runs.
