Blackman's baseball team fell into the losers' bracket of the Spring Fling Class AAA tournament at Siegel on Wednesday with a 6-2 loss to Brentwood.
The Blaze tied the game in dramatic fashion on Connor Mitchell's two-RBI single in the top of the seventh, but the Bruins had a more flair for the dramatic.
With no outs and the bases loaded, Mason Keidell was called upon to pinch hit and belted a grand slam over the right-field wall to send Brentwood into the winner's bracket.
The Bruins loaded the bases on a double, bunt single and intentional walk before Keidel pinch hit for Henry Glenn.
