Blackman has many offensive weapons at its disposal, and the Blaze used them all in a 63-28 home rout of Hendersonville Friday night in the Kia of Murfreesboro Game of the Week.
The Blaze scored on their first seven offensive possessions and also added two special teams scores. Blackman punted just one and it was late in the fourth quarter.
"We were fortunate to make some plays," Oakland coach David Watson said. "Our quarterback (Conner Mitchell made some play. (Receiver) Trey Knox made some plays (tailback) Master Teague made some plays. (Tailback) Cordell Braxton is a playmaker too, and I think the line did a good job too.
