MAC goals leader Edel Nyland extended her scoring streak to three consecutive games with two goals in a dominant 5-1 win at Central Michigan Saturday, including a first-half game-winner. Nyland, who also scored the game-winner in the Oct. 16 win against Ohio, scored Longwood’s first two goals of the game to spark the Lancers to their most dominant MAC win of the season.
Nyland needed just 33 seconds to score her first goal, giving the Lancers a first-minute lead that they would not relinquish.
