Rome — Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh on Saturday said he felt he, his staff and team were innovators and pioneers and plans to take his team abroad next year.
“We're going to do it again next year,” Harbaugh said before Michigan's final practice at Stadio dei Marmi. “We'd like to either go to South Africa, possibly Rio.
"We'll get together as a team and decide. I'd really like to Cape Town or Johannesburg."
Harbaugh was asked if he'd play a game overseas.
