ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team announced Wednesday (July 27) the addition of forwards Jake Slaker (San Diego, California) and Adam Winborg (Stockholm, Sweden) to the incoming freshman class for the 2016-17 season.
Slaker and Winborg round out Michigan's 11-man freshman class, the largest incoming group of first-year players at U-M since the 2007-08 season (11).
Jake Slaker: A 5-foot-10, 184-pound forward ... Served as captain of the Bloomington Thunder of the United States Hockey League in 2015-16, notching 42 points (21 goals, 21 assists) in 57 games .
