Report: Michigan RBs coach Tyrone Wheatley leaving for Jaguars

Michigan's football staff appears to be changing.

U-M running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley is leaving for the same position with the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, according to The Sporting News.

The Jaguars just hired Doug Marrone as their head coach and Wheatley worked for him as a running backs coach at Syracuse and then at the Buffalo Bills before Marrone quit and Wheatley came to Michigan in January 2015.

Wheatley returned to his alma mater and guided the running backs for coach Jim Harbaugh. He revived the position, which was at a low point before he arrived following one of the lowest rushing seasons in modern history.
